Chelsea Handler and her couldn’t-care-less interviews will be coming to a close, as E! has announced the one-hour series finale of Chelsea Lately will take place Aug. 26. No word yet on who the final guest will be, but since launching the show seven years ago Handler has amassed an impressive collection of celebrity BFFs, so it's anyone's guess.
“I myself am more surprised than anyone that I was able to hold down a job for seven years, and it was a fantastic seven years,” Handler said in a statement. “I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I’m glad I went. ”
Interesting choice of words for someone who consistently belittles her own network and employer…
No word yet on who will fill E!’s late-night chat spot. As for Handler, the New York Post recently reported that the comedienne is set to ink a deal with Netflix.
