PROVINCETOWN — Hillary Clinton will return to Provincetown this summer for another fundraiser, this time alongside pop icon Cher.
The Democratic nominee for president and the singer-actress will appear at a "rally-like" event Aug. 21 for an expected 500 attendees, said Bryan Rafanelli, a Boston-based event planner, who is co-hosting the event with Alix Ritchie.
"She's going to celebrate the amazing diversity of Provincetown and our country," said Rafanelli, who also orchestrated the wedding of Clinton's daughter, Chelsea.
Rafanelli said the planning team was still deciding on a location and exact time for the event, but those interested in attending can check the website hillaryclinton.com for information. – capecodtimes.com
So change your plans a little bit if you want to catch a glimpse, or get out of town a little early if you don't want all of that secret service traffic. Maybe they will both fly in.
