Poor straight people. According to a conservative activist, they are not get enough head.
As shared over at JoeMyGod, Anti-LGBTQ activist Linda Harvey has popped up on the internet again to share more hateful rhetoric.
We won’t share too many details about who Harvey is, simply because we’d then be promoting her, but know that she’s a very vocal and angry advocate for extreme conservative views. If you’re thinking, “Why are you spreading hate or giving her a platform?” Well, it’s mostly because what Harvey says is so stupid that it’s funny.
Recently Harvey wrote an article on Barbwire titled Kids Tutored in "Pleasure" Despite STD Epidemic, itself incredibly conservative, to rant about how teens are having sex and dancing with the devil (I’m paraphrasing, of course).
While all that’s pretty standard for conservative rhetoric, it’s these next few words that caused a few social media posts and articles to pop up as a response.
“Let’s not forget the deadly contribution of ‘LGBTQ’ advocates who demand ‘inclusive’ sex ed — i.e., lessons that outline in detail how kids can engage in anal and oral sex, the sex practices of homosexuals,” she wrote.
She then said:
“These lessons often encourage masturbation and pornography use. The “gay” community explodes over any attempt to restrict homosexual access to youth. But the evidence is everywhere that their influence is despicable.”
She added:
“Responsibility in sex is unpopular among today’s ‘hip’ educators. Bowing to social justice warriors, rabid feminists and ‘LGBTQ’ advocates, abstinence is discarded as the equivalent of racism. Never mind that this reasoning is short on reality and long on mythology.”
Of course, many people on the internet had a few thoughts on these words from the queen of hate-mongering.
What should our kids be taught in sex education? Clearly Linda Harvey has no clue.
