Drag Queen DYHZY was thriving at the center of Argentina’s Presidential Inauguration yesterday, and we loved every second of it.
Last month, we shared the story of Alberto and Estanislao Fernández. Alberto Fernández was recently elected as president of the Latin American country. That said, the star of the hour wasn’t Alberto but his son Estanislao.
24-year-old Estanislao is an openly bisexual internet personality, gamer, and drag queen under the persona DYHZY. Alberto, who is known for his liberal policymaking, has never expressed any remorse at his son’s personality or internet presence. In fact, he has only expressed total support (albeit with a bit of bewilderment).
“My son is a rights activist in that community,” he said while talking to radio show Radio Con Vos via Ushuaia Noticias. “In that world, which I don’t know much about, [he] seems to be respected and very recognized. I have pride in my son, how can I not be proud?”

But as the Guardian reports, Alberto was standing at center stage earlier this week during his inauguration. The inauguration marks a political shift in the country which had earlier been swept by conservative policymaking. Many are seeing Alberto’s election as a political shift to the left.
“We have to heal so many open wounds in our homeland,” he said in the speech to Argentina’s Congress during the ceremony. Alberto Fernández spent an hour criticizing the rising rates of hunger and poverty in the country under the watch of former conservative president Mauricio Macri.
But despite the moment deservedly being about Alberto Fernández, his son Estanislao was a star online. During the inauguration, Estanislao made a point to live stream part of the ceremony and post pictures on social media. All the while, he was dressed in a suit with a rainbow flag tucked inside his jacket. He took official photos with the flag in his suit pocket and then whipped it out later for all to see.

Latin America?
Argentina is located in South America
Hmm geography
Kaidan, Latin America is not defined by geography, it is defined by language, the romance languages specifically, where Spanish, Portuguese or French languages prevail, and history, countries that were once part of the Spanish, Portuguese and French Empires.
Parts of North America (Mexico and the Caribbean Islands), Central America and South America all make up Latin America.
