One of our last posts about Pulse was "Orlando Health & Florida Hospital Won't Bill Pulse Shooting Victims." I am sure there will be more news and recovery to happen in the future, but one MAJOR milestone that we've been waiting for is for all the survivors to be discharged. This will be the first weekend when Orlando / Pulse victims will not be in hospital.
BayNews9 shares with us the tweets from Orlando Health below.
One person who survived the attack at Pulse remained in critical condition for weeks before their status was slowly upgraded over the last few weeks.
Of the 44 victims who were taken to ORMC on June 12, nine died. Thirty-five were cared for at the hospital.
Twelve of the survivors were also taken to Florida Hospital, and have been released. – BayNews9
The road to recovery both physically and emotionally will not be over for some time, but at least the victims will be in the care and company of loved ones.
Our thoughts are with you all.
