The Democratic Primary Debate Participants Are Locked In – Who Will Be The Next Nominee?
Since the election of Donald Trump in 2016 the political climate is so heated it’s become rare for anyone to agree with somebody. One event that may have proved to unite us all is that the Democratic Primary debates over the last few months were a cluster of information and unwanted or unnecessary candidates… we had freakin’ twenty of them. Twenty! Yet, if you’ve been following the debates, you’ll know that some candidates shined, surprised, and tanked in front of our eyes. The candidates have been in a cage match ever since – but now we finally know the top ten candidates who will move on to a single debate night next month.
According to ABC News, Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julián Castro, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Andrew Yang are the top ten Democratic candidates. One of these ten will eventually go on to challenge the Trump Administration – which is starting to give me PTSD thinking of him debating against Hillary Clinton. I think we all could’ve guessed the above ten, but I am rather shocked by the inclusion of Klobuchar, O’Rourke, and Yang. Yang has surprisingly been gaining a lot of attention – and has my interest peaked – so I’m kind of loving him being a part of the top ten.
The next Democratic Primary Debate will air nationwide on September 12th. Who are you trusting to go head-to-head against the Trump Administration?
