We recently got the hear Panic! At The Disco lead singer Brendon Urie duet with pop princess Taylor Swift on her single “ME!”, but having him back as lead singer of Panic! is where we love him, almost as much as dueting with our favorite pop starlets.
Now, he and the boys from Panic! are taking a crack at the new single from the Frozen 2 soundtrack, “Into The Unknown”. On the Frozen 2 soundtrack, there are two versions of the track, one with the male vocals from Urie and Panic!, and the other by Broadway dynamo and Frozen 2‘s Elsa, Idina Menzel
Producer/Remixer Joel Dickinson has decided to tap into the brilliance of both versions and crafted a mashup of the most epic proportions, turning “Into The Unknown” into one of his patented Mirrorball Remixes. Trading the vocals back and forth between Urie and Menzel at a rapid pace turns the track into something differently entirely. and with some strings and drums tossed in, it makes this one a duet for the ages, and perfect for the dance floor (similarly to how “Let It Go” before it became a massive dance floor anthem).
Ricky Sixx also did a fantastic video version, merging the videos for both tracks, along with Dickinson’s remix!
