Jeffrey Epstein Found DEAD In Jail

News is currently breaking that Jeffrey Epstein has committed suicide while at a Manhattan Jail.

Epstein was a financier who was indicted on sex trafficking charges last month. More specifically, the 66-year-old was indicted of sexually exploiting many minors between 2002 and 2005 in New York and Florida. Some of the children, mostly girls, were as young as 14 at the time of the alleged abuses, according to court records in Manhattan federal court and the CNBC. In response to these charges, Epstein pleaded not guilty.

“The alleged behavior shocks the conscience,” said Geoffrey Berman, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, at a press conference.

Then, according to officials earlier today, Epstein hung himself as his body was found this morning at roughly 7:30.

Then just yesterday, the court released nearly 2,000 pages of documents about Epstein and his former girlfriend and alleged procurer of underage targets Ghislaine Maxwell.

One document contains information about how one accuser, Virginia Giuffre, says Maxwell made her have sex with former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell (a Democrat from Maine), former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, British royalty Prince Andrew, and other prominent figures.

In response, Mitchell released a statement saying, “The allegation contained in the released documents is false. I have never met, spoken with or had any contact with Ms. Giuffre.”

The documents also lightly tie U.S. President Donald Trump to Epstein through providing flight records showing Trump flew on Epstein’s private plane in January 1997 from Palm Beach to Newark, or Giuffre giving testimony that Epstein “told [her] that Donald Trump is a good friend of his.” That said, the documents bare no evidence of Trump engaging with Epstein’s dubious deeds.

While the times of these released documents and Epstein’s death are so close, we cannot say that they are connected.
