I think I heard of Amy Schumer. Isn't she the sister of Ross from Friends? No, I know that's not true, but I honestly cannot remember where I heard her name first. But I don't think it matters where she had her start since it seems she's having a surge in people paying attention to her now. And what's better to a fresh new funny face.
Looking at her history, she's been doing stand up since 2004 and been on television here and there since 2007 with participation in comedy shows as well as roast of Barr and Sheen. Not a man with cable tv, I did not realize she had her own show Inside Amy Schumer since 2013, which will begin its third season later this month.
Two of her biggest television audiences of her career may be reached within a 4 day period. Schumer will be hosting the MTV Movie Awards on April 12, but on April 9th, she commanded the white chairs on Ellen. Who else can link in Jurassic Park's dilophosaurus, pop corn eating, and a UTI. Because of this appearance, I may will have to find a friend with cable that will be watching MTV on Sunday night. As well her new movie Trainwreck will be out in July this year. Great marketing Miss Amy.
