Justin Bieber finally shaved his mustache after it received a considerable amount of negative attention from his fans and the press.
“I shaved,” he confessed in an Instagram post shared on Sunday, February 16. “MUSTASHIO went on holiday, but he will be back in due time.” Fans and friends of his rejoiced in the comments section, with one simply writing, “Thank you Jesus.” His wife Hailey Baldwin and mother Pattie Mallette also appeared to be happy with his decision after he was mocked incessantly over how it looked.
Justin actually documented him shaving it off in a set of Instagram stories while listening to, wait for it, “Hit The Road Jack” by Ray Charles. Clever. Also check out his phone case that has a bear on the back of it. Tee hee.
Fans have been begging him to get rid of his hairy upper lip for a while now as they didn’t like how it looked on him. They may, however, have his gorgeous wife Hailey to thank for him finally doing it as a source for People said that she “can’t stand his mustache so eventually it will come off.”
Mustache or not, he’s still got that body which no one can really fault him for as he looks darn good with it. For now, we’ll be happy with his new look with the understanding that there’s much more to him to gawk at than just some silly facial hair.
