The Hollywood Bowl was officially ladies night last night at Citi Presents "Katy Perry's: We Can Survive" breast cancer benefit concert. The nearly four hour show featured awesome performances from the likes of Tegan & Sara, Ellie Goulding and, of course, a ’90stastic Katy, but it was the grand finale that has everyone talking.
After closing her set with “Firework” (complete with huge Hollywood Bowl fireworks), Katy brought all of the night’s performers onstage for a very “We Are The World” performance of “Roar.” Check out Bonnie McKee, Sara Bareilles (who had her own brilliant set earlier in the night), Ellie Goulding, Tegan & Sara and country star Kacey Musgraves with Katy below.
Sure, it may not have been the "Roar"/"Brave" mashup we all we secretly wishing for (missed opportunity, ladies!), but a pretty great finale nonetheless.
