Today, SAG-AFTRA announced that Mother Monster and Harrison Ford would be this year’s recipients of the Artists Inspirations Awards at the organizations third annual Patron of the Artists Awards ceremony, honoring entertainers who use their resources and status for philanthropic and humanitarian causes.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board president (and Poltergeist scream queen) JoBeth Williams said in a statement:

“We are honored to recognize two of the most iconic and beloved artists worldwide who have not only made indelible impacts on our culture and the arts but who have chosen to use their influence to make a difference for others.”

“Harrison Ford is an acting legend in every known galaxy, but what many do not know are the decades of philanthropic service and leadership he has given to Conservation International to help protect our planet,” Williams said.

“Lady Gaga, whose monster career as a performer and actor has won her hundreds of millions of fans around the world, has also worked tirelessly on behalf of young people, focusing on mental wellness and building a kinder, braver world through her Born This Way Foundation. Harrison Ford and Lady Gaga are shining examples of how extraordinary success and true legacy are about creating a better world.”

Gaga is a six-time Grammy-winner, and she’s already received an Oscar nod for Best Original Song (she lost to Sam Smith). For A Star Is Born, she’s getting buzz in that category again, as well as Best Actress.

Ford’s is one of the most illustrious careers of any leading man in Hollywood history. He most recently starred in two sci-fi blockbuster sequels: Blade Runner 2049 and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for Witness.

The Patron of the Artists Awards ceremony will be held Nov. 8 in Beverly Hills.
