Lil Nas X has little time for random homophobes.

Last weekend, Lil Nas X rocked the Grammy’s with his pink-cowboy-meets-leather-pup look. Even better, the singer performed his record-breaking hit “Old Town Road” with the help of BTS and Mason Ramsey, Diplo, and Billy Ray Cyrus. Then after winning two Grammys, the singer went off to enjoy a night out with Lizzo, Dua Lipa, and Ezra Miller.

But unfortunately, not everyone was a digging the rising star’s Grammy look and night. As you might suspect, with every growingly popular gay man there are a dozen homophobes seething fire. One such man was Pastor Troy, an Atlanta-based rapper who saw the height of his fame back in the early 2000s. That said, he has continued to release music up to 2018 and has a stable fan base in the Atlanta-area.

In reaction to Lil Nas X’s Grammy look, Pastor Troy said, “Welp, Guess I won’t be winning a GRAMMY… if this is what I gotta wear. They love to push this s*** on Our Kids!!!” For sake of saving us all from the hate, we won’t post any more of Troy’s long rant than that.

Thankfully, Lil Nas X didn’t pay much mind to the hate served by Pastor Troy. Instead, he shared two quick tweets. One said, “damn I look good in that pic on god [sic].”

Meanwhile, the other tweet read, “Pastor Troy when he saw 2 n****s eating mozerella sticks [sic].” To go with that tweet, Lil Nas X included the iconic video of self-help guru Iyanla yelling, “Not on my watch!”

Honestly, there’s nothing much else to say except props to Lil Nas X. He’s showing us just how to handle homophobes and online trolls. With nothing more than the roll of the eye.
