There was the fiercest game of mistaken identity when The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes was mistaken for a drag queen doppelgänger, Tiffany Fantasia, when Leakes made a pit stop into into South Beach’s premier spot for drag queen performances, the Palace. Page Six reports that “a group of tipsy boys shouted, ‘You’d better work it, Tiffany T. Fantasia!’ but it was NeNe”! “She entered and played it off like a true diva. She walked in with a fierce walk and winked at the table.” Page Six went on the say that the reality star fielded “selfie requests” when patrons finally realized that it was the Bravolebrity as opposed to the South Beach drag icon.
This is not the first time the Palace maven and the Real Housewives of Atlanta OG have crossed paths. Close to a year ago, Fantasia and Leakes joined Watch What Happens Live! host Andy Cohen at the Palace, where he jokingly mentioned that he was with his “two favorite drag queens in Miami”, all all three erupted in raucous laughter, documented on Cohen’s Instagram page.
