New Campy Video / Song “United Fruit” pays homage to Stonewall Inn.

It's campy, fun, there's a gorilla, it pays tribute in its own special way to the Stonewall Inn Riots and is by a group called Dildorado. Yes, Dildorado.

Take a listen / watch to this catchy tune.  I will admit, I had to listen to it a couple of times before realizing it would be a fun song to dance to.

Stockholm Pride 2015 liked it so much, the organization adopted "United Fruit" as its Community Song.

I could see DJ Maryalice at Provincetown's Boatslip playing this just before launching Last Dance or definitely during Bear Week.  It has a Queer as Folk feel to it so us older guys may like it a little more than the younger crowd.

Is it a hit? Your thoughts?

  4. It’s an insult to the LGBT

It's an insult to the LGBT Community. This has nothing to do with PRIDE, where we as a gay community fought for to get where we are today. All you do is promote the sex and prance around. It is an embarrassment. Shame on you!
