A fun new web series is on the horizon and we can’t wait to watch it.
Earlier this week, the teaser dropped for an upcoming web series titled West 40s. The new web series is from the minds of Mark Sam Rosenthal and Brian Sloan.
The “midtown, midlife comedy” follows five friends who are approaching being middle aged.
As the writers describe it:
“In their 30s, they’d meet strangers on the Hell’s Kitchen sidewalk and have sex in less time than it took to climb the four flights up to their apartments. But now past 40 they’re all wondering what they want for the long haul – and questioning whether they can still make it up those stairs!”
The web series was crowdfunded on Kickstarter last year. Not only was that campaign successful, but the creators received nearly double the amount of their original goal of $12,500 (ultimately making $23,807).
With all of that support before production, the creators and actors (Dalton Blaine, Dan Domingues, Jeff Hiller, Matthew Montelongo, John-Andrew Morrison, and Rosenthal) must have felt the pressure. That said, the series is looking great so far.
The first episode will drop sometime this month on West40s.tv. Until then, you can get excited by checking out the teaser below.
