In 1988, a Canadian by the name of Celine Dion (representing Switzerland) finished first in one of the most thrilling Eurovision Song Contest endings ever. She won by one single point (footage here).

We may not have remembered that one but, one year after her win, Céline Dion opened the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest with her song Where Does My Heart Beat Now, which went on to become a top-5 hit in the United States and made it to the charts around the globe. It also helped establish her career in Europe, after winning the Eurovision Song Contest the year before.
Eurovision has come a long way since Celine's win 30 years ago last Monday, with winners like Conchita Wurst and as recent as this year's Ireland's Video Submission For Eurovision Centers Around A Gay Couple, we are being represented in the competition.

Benjamin Ingrosso will represent Sweden at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon with the song Dance You Off.
He is Sweden' s own Bieber/Timberlake with his sexy modern sound. He can dance us off at anytime… Benjamin is a huge gay favorite and he will be in the top for sure.
Alexander Rybak will represent Norway at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon with the song That's How You Write A Song.
