Sam, who currently resides in Sicily, Italy, was the first English rugby union player to officially come out as gay back in 2015. He made waves in 2017 when he got engaged to his equally as cute long term boyfriend Laurence Hicks due to their age gap. He had no problem clapping back to all the haters online in response to their criticisms.
