A popular web series about gay men in Singapore is back.
Several gay tv shows and web series have addressed the heavy issue of HIV-awareness. But in Asia, a continent where diagnoses are rising, such stories are all the more important.
Thankfully, People Like Us has just released the start of its second season, according to Gay Star News.
The series follows four Singaporean gay men named Joel, Ridzwan, Rai, and Isaac. The show was written and directed by Leon Cheo, produced by Jen Lim, and presented by Gayhealth, which is a part of Action of AIDS Singapore, as a way to represent gay stories and address HIV-awareness.

To help keep the show authentic, Cheo filmed the series on location in popular gay bars, gyms, and shopping areas in Singapore. The first episode even begins at Pink Dot, the largest and most popular LGBTQ festival in the country.
The series was well-received in its first season, and is now back for a second round. You can watch People Like Us’s first swing at the new season down below.
