Lindsay Lohan Joins Life Size Sequel!
Tyra Banks Confirms Lohan Is In!
#YES! If you're in your mid-20s like I am, controversial Actress, Lindsay Lohan, was probably one of the biggest stars of your youth. Lohan rocked some of our favorite films until she went on to be the first Disney kid to go off the hinges, so to speak. Lohan, most notably known for Mean Girls, was also the star of Life Size. The film featured Lohan as a girl trying to resurrect her dead mother, but instead has a Barbie-like doll, Eve (Tyra Banks), come to life instead. As a flamboyant young boy, Life Size was literally everything. Pretty girls, songs, outfits, and a combination of Lohan and Banks led to an immediate hit which is still held to some pretty high standards. For years, Banks has been trying to get a sequel off the ground. Finally, production will begin in summer 2018…and we've just been given some scoop on filming.
According to The Shade Room – yes, we have no limits on to where we get our information from – Banks has told Buzzfeed Lohan will be making an appearance in the film! Better yet, Banks is almost demanding Lohan have an actual role in the film…not just a cameo! Oh, Banks – you are way too good for us! Banks tells Buzzfeed:
"I slid into her [Direct Messages] first, to be honest. ‘Cause I was like, ‘Yo, I’m producing “Life-Size 2″ are you down?’ And she was like, ‘I’m down to the down.’ Like, she’s so down!” So will Lohan be returning as Casey? She could be…I’m telling the writer I don’t want [Lohan] to just have a cameo. I feel like she was just as important to ‘Life-Size’ 1 as I was, so I want her to have a role, at least three or four scenes. I think she would play herself grown up — like, Casey in ‘Life-Size’ grown up. So, we’ll see!”
As a long time fan of Lohan, I'm thrilled to see her getting more work and hope to continue to see more of her on screen! Please, Banks, make sure Lohan gets a FULL role! A sequel would be even better with her than without! How excited are you for Lohan's return to film?!
