Trump Administration Refuses Transgender Individuals To Serve In Military
Ugh! I try my best to not promote a political agenda through social media and blogging. It’s never fun, I’d rather not speak out of turn, and I would want to do my research so I wouldn’t look like a fool for trolls. Donald Trump’s next tweets, however, have genuinely shocked me. Seriously, I cannot believe what I’ve just read.
On the morning of July 26th, Trump once again takes to Twitter to make an announcement. Like a petulant child, he overshares on social media. Oversharing is why society has been taking a shit on itself, especially, since there is next to no one to currently lead by example. Trump’s Administration takes another stab at the LGBTQ Community. Sigh.
In a series of tweets he proclaims:
“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the US Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you.”
Uhhh, thank you?! Trump ends this heinous tweet with a God, damn THANK YOU?!?!?!?! You can serve and love your country, unless you’re Transgender. Are we all in purgatory?!
I cannot sit here and give you all an opinion, as I have yet to fully comprehend what I’ve just read. I’m going to have some users from social media, including Trans Activist and natural leader, Precious Brady-Davis.
