Back at the beginning of November, we reported that the city of Orlando To Buy Pulse Nightclub, Will Turn It Into A Memorial. with a purchase price of $2.25 million. The news out of Orlando today is that Pulse night club owner, Barbara Poma is not ready to walk away from the building and the club.
"I feel a personal obligation to ensure that a permanent space at Pulse be created so that all generations to come will remember those affected by, and taken on, June 12th," she said.
Poma said she intends to create "a space for everyone, sanctuary of hope, and a welcoming area to remember all those affected by the tragedy." – FoxNews.com
Back in June, Poma did an interview with Matt Lauer about re-opening.
Would it be acceptable to keep it as an active club / business like Stonewall in New York City or should Pulse be all converted into a memorial?
Would you be more apt to visit Pulse as a night club, memorial, both?
What are your thoughts?
