Oh, here we go again. History is repeating itself. Back in September 2013, we reported Homophobic Federal Judge's Gay Porn Past Exposed? At that time, the seat in question was not a Supreme Court position, but a federal circuit position being held by Judge Bill Prior. Here was some of our coverage back then.
Reportedly working on a few tips, the ABI (Alabama Bureau of Investigations) is concerned that the full-frontal images feature federal circuit Judge Bill Pryor. If the ABI confirms that the images are in fact those of the conservative Bush-appointee, there is a chance Pryor could be indicted for falsifying his background during his Congressional confirmation hearings. According to LegalSchnauzer, Congress commonly asks federal judicial appointees about "potentially embarrassing or compromising information in their backgrounds."
Pryor reportedly posed for the shots while he was a student at Northeast Louisiana University from 1980 – 1984, and sources indicate that the porn appeared in print during that time before finding new life on the Internet in the '90s.
Judge Pryor is a notoriously staunch right wing conservative. Though he was cool with gay guys ogling his fully erect, full frontal naked self, he's not cool with gays and lesbians walking the streets as free people. According to People for the American Way, Judge Pryor "would deny gay men and lesbians the equal protection of the laws. He believes that it is constitutional to imprison gay men and lesbians for expressing their sexuality in the privacy of their own homes and has voluntarily filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court urging the Court to uphold a Texas law that criminalizes such private consensual activity."
Of course, Pryor insists the pictures are not him, though apparently, a republican colleague in Alabama was quick to confirm that they are. "Holy cow, that's Bill Pryor!" he said.

Within the law, of course, what Judge Pryor or anyone may have done with their penis as a college student, i.e. posing for gay porn pictures, should have no bearing on their judicial aptitude. This is about what he has done and potentially will do with his gavel. – thesword.com
We feel the same way. We cannot slut shame this guy for having fun during college, like we shouldn't slut shame our future first lady Trump. But this is a little different than slut shaming.
What I find interesting is that I have never seen more billboards for "adult book stores and novelties" as I did this past week driving through the entire south east of the United States. All over the great south east, the bible belt, it seemed that every 5th exit had an adult book store, mixed right in with the book stores selling 350,000 copies of religious texts and bibles.
There's a past that we can all live with, but being two faced about it is not the right thing. Practice what you preach and preach what you practice.
