Disgraced former Republican congressman Aaron Schock has now sunk even lower. If you can believe it. Schock, who recently sparked outrage via shirtless gay romp photos from Coachella, was spotted in WeHo earlier this week, chatting up a twink sandwich with bleached blonde hair at the pool of the Standard Hotel (a place that I can tell you from personal experience is a hotbed for man-on-man action).
Published on the Instagram account @eelarson, the photographs were brought to our attention via Towleroad. They’re kind of nauseating…is the nicest thing I can say about them.
Just a little refresher on who this person is: the former Congressman voted to amend the Constitution to outlaw same-sex marriage, he voted against repealing “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell,” And he’s the guy with that abomination of a Downton Abbey office. He also recently skirted [paid] his way around corruption charges including filing false tax returns, mail and wire fraud, false reports and statements, and theft of government funds, scamming the government out of more than $100,000.
Should we forgive Schock? Should we show him limitless compassion and give him some airtime to come out of the closet?
He’s never apologized for the damage he’s done, and clearly he won’t learn or grow. It would appear he is on his own self-serving trajectory, oblivious to the needs or basic human rights of others.

It is sad that these gay stars dont have staff that does their job to let them know what he has voted against. Since elton does charity for aids etc and im sute would have met and have him and gave him an earful how harmful his actions are to our community. Stop him. Btw who in weho is straight talks to a guy instead of a woman. Oh yeah its a gay spot. Duh.

Any publicity is seen by some as better than no publicity, so he could be a closet case without a clue, or he may be doing what he is doing just to get publicity.

Why are gay publications so obsessed with this guy’s personal/romantic life? I agree that his record on gay rights is horrendous and deserves criticism, but come on! Constantly taking pics of his personal life and showing it off to the masses just reaks of unhealthy obsession. Is this an excuse that allows the gay press to show a hot guy whose political views they (we) find distasteful? Seriously, just ignore him. He has gone away, but you guys keep bringing him back.
