Scotland Ready To Showcase Its “Legacy” For This Year’s Glasgay Festival

The Man Broon Monologues (a musical by Jackie Kay)

-Cured (a drama by Stef Smith)

Wilful Forgetting (a drama by Martin O’Conner and Donna Rutherford)

Other interesting works and events on tap for the 2013 program include John Binnie’s Killing Me Softly, a powerful story of two lonely individuals—a gay boy and a straight girl—set in the early days of AIDS; a screening of The Wizard of Oz with live orchestra score by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

That’s, of course, in addition to concerts, comedy shows and art exhibitions featuring groundbreaking LGBT artists and highlighting LGBT culture. Now if only we could find us some would-be husbands to buy us plane tickets to Scotland…
