The interview touches on a couple of other items, brings us back to the late '80s, and gets around to the coming out at about the 2:05 mark.
Hayes said it did get better and his mom did come around to be supportive and loving.
How did your coming out compare to our beloved Jack's? Of course it's not a happy ending like that for everyone. And of course this was Sean Hayes coming out to his family in 1988 and not to the world as he did in 2010.
