Sore Loser Roy Moore Goes After Doug Jones’ Openly Gay Son

Eight days after losing the Alabama Senator race to Doug Jones, sore loser, homophobe and alleged pedophile Roy Moore simply won't concede.  And not only that, but now he is going after Doug Jones' openly gay son Carson to add salt to this pathetic wound.

Moore, who has been anti-LGBT for many years and even blamed the community for his molestation problems (sure, girl), posted a link from an Advocate interview with Carson Jones on his Facebook page, which was later deleted.

The article in question simply interviewed Carson about how proud he is of his father, his historic win in a deeply red state, and also confirmed that he was gay.  “I am obviously thrilled with my dad’s victory,” he told the LGBT publication. “We have been overwhelmed by the support of so many people that made this happen. Alabama made a really big statement that unity wins out. I couldn’t be prouder of him or my home state!”

Him posting the article without comment shows that Roy is too afraid to really voice his opinions about homophobia towards Carson correct, so he links to another article to let his followers do so.  Luckily, several people spoke up about his cowardly decision, and pointed out problems with his own children in the process (his son Caleb has been arrested multiple times.)

Of course, some of his supporters gave the whole "man and a woman" type situation and agreed with his pathetic post, but even some spoke up against him for making such a cheap shot towards Carson.

“The Senate seat was stolen, we ALL know that. Judge Moore should have won, but who cares if Jones has a gay son? You can be sure God loves him as much as any of the rest of us. Let's not be hypocritical people.”

“I supported you during the campaign. I defended you in discussions with friends and family. But I have to tell you, this is a cheap shot. It is unbecoming of a senatorial candidate to attack the family of your political opponent in my opinion. Just concede and go away. The Alabama GOP will just have to nominate a better candidate for 2020.”

“Hey Roy,” one commenter wrote, “instead of casting your stones at other people's sons, maybe you should try to get help for your own, before he gets arrested for the TENTH time. It doesn’t get more cynical and nasty than attacking someone else’s kid just because you lost an election. Jerk.”

So as Marcia lovingly says in The Brady Bunch parody, "Nice try, Jan."
