Reality star Ryan Cleary made a very brave and bold decision earlier this year when he decided to come out not as gay… but bisexual.
Bisexual coming out stories have barely scratched the surface when it comes to people who are famous, let alone everyday regular people. It is usually the other three major letters: L (Lesbian), G (Gay) or T (Transgender) that we have heard most about for many years now.
Ryan actually came out on a show that he was on called Survival of the Fittest, which is a hit program across the pond in the U.K. where people compete in physical and mental challenges in the African Savannah. So essentially it's Survivor meets Big Brother.
“I’m gonna be very honest with you guys, I’m bisexual,” he told two of his housemates on the first day. “I’ve got to be honest with myself, and with you guys, but it’s not something I can just drop to everyone.”
After coming out, fans of the show praised him for his honesty. "That took guts on day 1 for Ryan to admit that he is Bisexual," one social media user wrote.
