Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend isn't exactly where you go for a couple of days to sip tea and watch reruns of Golden Girls. The annual event, which took place in Washington D.C. this past weekend, celebrates the love of leather in many different capacities.
Similar to how Bear Week is operated in Provincetown, MAL (which has been going on for over forty years now) has a ton of incredible events throughout the three day extravaganza that include Leather Cocktails, which is the historic leather formal Saturday evening cocktail social. There is also an incredible Leather Exhibit Hall, the Mr. MAL Contest and the official Sunday night party to end the phenomenal weekend.
