Two young professional soccer players share a hotel room the night before their first big game. Out of nowhere, one kisses the other. This ‘pass’ echoes through the next ten years of both their lives – a decade of fame and failure, secrets and lies, in a sporting world where image is everything. – youtube.com

This role is not new to Tovey, who played the same character in the play two years ago. The now movie, The Pass, will be released in the UK in December of this year but will make its presence known at the BFI London Film Festival in early October.
