Could one of the most beloved sitcoms from the 90's actually make its way back onto the small screen soon?
Fran Drescher, who starred in the iconic series The Nanny for six years on CBS, has been dropping subtle hints that the show might be making a comeback.
Back in December, she mentioned that she was open to doing a reboot of the show, telling Closer Magazine: "“As far as a reboot goes, I would be open to it if somebody wanted to do it,” she revealed. “But if nobody wants to do it, then I’m currently trying to develop something else.”
Now, it looks like the reboot could be a bigger possibility, as she shared a photo of her reuniting with some of the writers and producers of the show on Friday. "Nanny writer producer Lunch reunion in nyc. Can u feel the love?", she captioned the pic.
Whoa! If the rumors are true, The Nanny would join a bevy of other shows from the 90's that have been rebooted over twenty years later, including Will & Grace and Roseanne. Could Fran and co be next?
