In mere moments, Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn will make history in the Land of Lincoln by signing into law marriage equality for ALL couples in the state.
Ahead of Quinn's appearance, Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon spoke.
"I am a proud Illinoisan today.Thanks to everyone in the state of Illinois for making this a land we can all be proud of. It's time to stop planning rallies and start planning weddings."
