Werk! Christian Siriano Replacing Tim Gunn on Project Runway

Fashion designer Christian Siriano is returning to the show that made him a household name all those years ago, but this time it won't be at the sewing machine.

It was revealed earlier this week Siriano will be one of the new head judges on Project Runway alongside supermodel Karlie Kloss, as Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn will be leaving the long running reality series after 16 seasons to launch another reality competition for Amazon.

Nina Garcia, who has been with the show since it began in 2004, will be the only returning name for the show's 17th season. There are two other new faces as well; designer Brandon Maxwell and former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Elaine Welteroth

Siriano revealed the big news on his Instagram Thursday, captioning the post with "Well everyone I’m back and with a twist, I’m the mentor! 10 years later I’m excited and honored to help guide the new generation of talent on #projectrunway."

The show will also be returning to Bravo where it aired for the first five seasons. Siriano was the show's Season 4 winner and is considered by many to be one of the most successful (if not most successful) contestant to come out of the show. In the years since he won, Siriano has dressed some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Nicki MInaj and Sarah Jessica Parker and even First Lady Michelle Obama.

Congrats to Christian on this fantastic news!
