Which Guy Was Everyone Drooling Over The Year You Were Born?

On occasion, when finding out a friend's or a new acquaintance's birthday, I play a weird game and count back to what was going on at the time of conception.  Was it New Years Eve?  Was there a big ice storm that year and people needed to stay warm somehow? Or was there a big bang and fireworks on the Fourth of July?

I actually know I was conceived at a summer rental in Millbridge, Maine.  It was a family vacation with already born siblings, my future aunts and uncles and grandparents.  My cousin was conceived during the same vacation so it must have been a great week along the coastline of Maine.

A posting in Cosmopolitan started me thinking one step further.  Who as your momma thinking about when you were conceived?  Hopefully it was your father, but then again, maybe she needed some inspiration.

The slide show starts off in 1960 and goes to 2015.  Here are some of the early heart throbs.

Robert Redford was the man everyone was drooling over in 1974, but I'd have to go back to 1973 to see whom mom might have been heart throbbing over when I was conceived.  Roger Moore? Hmmm, doubtful.  I know my mother had a huge crush on Tom Seleck, well at least she had a poster of him and his open shirt exposing his hairy chest.  The poster was from Magnum P.I. which started in 1980, but he was on her favorite soap opera, Young and the Restless in 1973 so it could have been him.  But then again, I do take after my mom and my taste in men does vary quite a bit, but just look at him.

Head over to Cosmopolitan for the slide show up to 2015.

Who do you think were the heart throbs for 2016 and for the current year 2017?  Who are the ladies and the boys thinking of when they're creating their own fireworks this Fourth Of July?
