#WHAT?! Alright, so I’ve been to quite a few – who am I kidding – a ton of house parties in rented homes from websites such as AirBnB which have been absolute chaos. I’ve literally seen fist fights, vomit, and worse go on within the confines of a rented home. Fortunately, as a party goer, I didn’t have to suffer a fine or regret for some wild antics. I’m always so curious to the damage to a reputation and future decision making which occur after these wild Hollywood parties I’ve attended in the past. This next story I’m about to tell you takes the outrage of having a handful of people in your home to a whole new level.
According to Queerty, a Massachusetts homeowner, Leah Bassett, discovered her luxurious abode was used in scenes for gay and transsexual porn. Bassett rented out her home for several months between 2014 an 2015 to a gentleman who then allowed Monica Jensen AKA Nica Noelle, owner of adult film company, Mile High Media. Jensen decided to take advantage of the home and filmed numerous porn scenes within the confines. If walls could talk, right?
Bassett claims the renter promised the home wouldn’t be used for commercial purposes – porn included, and the gorgeous Martha’s Vineyard space suffered about $16K in damages. What the hell we’re they doing in there?! Apparently, Bassett self-discovered numerous photos, including said porn stars taking photographs in the home and boasting of their stay. But, also – girl – what kind of porn is getting you off?! To make matters worse, the porn company didn’t even purchase their own…supplies. They used Bassett’s linens and other decorations in her home for their scenes! You’ve got to be kidding me! Bassett claims she couldn’t live in the home for two years because of emotional stress.
As comedic as this may be, I’m totally on Bassett’s side. This is absolutely absurd and lazy on the part of the film company. Get your own crap- why are you using a stranger’s belongings?! I hope she sues them for what it’s worth and more- because the act the company did is absolutely vile!
