For the real Super Bowl, I had the pleasure of spending the game with friends at Sidelines Sports Bar in Wilton Manors. For the Oscars, a.k.a. "the Gay Super Bowl," I have not made any plan, but it looks like Denver has the right idea.

Oscar Party Ever. The fete will include a grand entrance down the rainbow carpet, divine drinks, titillating appetizers, runway-worthy gowns and some of Denver’s favorite Queens. Of course, the awards presentation will be streaming live, and we will rudely shush anyone who speaks over the host or speeches. Selling tickets in categories like "All the Single Ladies" for those attending the event alone, or "The Twink" for the group wanting to share a table, drinks, and appetizers, and "The Bear" where you get the same as the twink, but add a champagne toast and go-go boy bottle service. Needless to say, if you visit their site, all tickets are sold out hand have been sold out for some time. Not only is it a good time, but proceeds benefit Off-Center, a theatrical testing center to development off-beat theater.
Off-Center is a theatrical testing center generating new ideas, experiences, and practices to enhance the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA), engage the communities of Denver and advance the field. – DenverCenter.org
It looks like people in Denver will be having fun and supporting a good cause.
