New Short Film "Just Me" Sees Philip Olivier Playing Closeted Gay Man
Former soap star Philip Olivier is getting ready to premiere in a leather-filled short film.
You might remember Olivier for acting in the early 2000s tv series Hollyoaks: In the City. There, he played Adam, the sexually conflicted teacher and roommate of the main characters.
Now, Olivier is playing another conflicted man in a short film titled “Just Me.” This time, he plays a closeted gay man who finds himself in a leather club.
More specifically, Scott (Olivier) is preparing to get married but Connor (played by Carl Loughlin), a stranger from his past, turns up on his doorstep to make him question his future wedding plans.
The short film, written by James Mallen and Thom Sean Hughes and directed by Mickey Jones, started filming in August and has just released first look photos from the production. Also, the film’s official Facebook page says the movie will be “coming out of the closet soon.”
