Not sure if either of these guys are in the right here, but here we go!
Shawn Mendes shared a cover story of his that had “Prince of pop” written right below his very firm chest.
The shot is from Observer Magazine. They also posted another sultry pic of Shawn, 20, in bed and under the covers.
The description in the 2nd Instagram post called him “the red-hot poster boy of pop.” So if we combine those, then the “Stitches” singer is currently the red-hot poster prince of pop boy. Got it.
Somebody who took issue to him being called the Prince of Pop is fellow Canadian Justin Bieber, who left a very interesting comment on Shawn’s post.
“Hmm ‘’ Gonna have to break a few more records to dethrone my title there bud (canadian voice)..but if you want we can play hockey for it but i heard your a real bender on the ice we could just drop the buckets and tilt for it.”
Or wrestle for it, or whatever (kidding). The term Prince of Pop is nothing new in the world of music. Michael Jackson is still regarded as the King of Pop by many, whereas the Queen is a bit more debatable.
There are several in the Princess category as well. Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Beyonce, etc. It’s four different titles that no one will ever agree on.
The below artist gets my vote for who I think is the true Prince of Pop. Discuss amongst yourselves.
