We’re officially getting a Sex Education season 3, and there’s even a trailer to tease us about next year’s season.
Are Maeve and Otis destined to stay a will-they-won’t-they-couple? Will Eric cherish or regret his love triangle decision? Will Jean Milburn get over her broken heart and prepare for the new arrival? We’ll have to wait until next year to know for sure. BUT, we now know that we WILL be finding out.
Netflix has not only officially announced that a season 3 of Sex Education is on the way. Even better, the streaming platform released the below video to announced the third season. In it, we see actor Alistair Petrie, who plays Mr. Groff, walking by portraits of the show’s cast and characters. This includes Adam Groff, his character’s son, and Eric Effiong.
“I wonder what is in store for these two cherubs,” says Petrie. “Well, I suppose you’ll have to find out in season three, won’t you?”
Check out the video below.
Sex Education is a Netlfix Original program following British high school student Otis Milburn. Otis is the son of sex therapist Dr. Jean Milburn, which is something he’s hated most of his life. But while Otis originally loathed growing up in his mother’s home and office, things started to change after meeting school outcast Maeve Wiley. The two then start an underground sex therapy business to give advice to their fellow students. On top of this, Otis’s best friend Eric explores his own storyline in season two. This storyline includes a love triangle with Eric right in the middle.
Sex Education stars Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Patricia Allison, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, Aimee Lou Wood, Chaneil Kular, Simone Ashley and Tanya Reynolds.
We look forward to watching season three sometime next year.
