Andrew Christian Scrubs Topher DiMaggio’s Face from Website Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Popular underwear brand Andrew Christian issued a statement earlier this week regarding the sexual assault allegations against one of its trophy boys, Topher DiMaggio

The statement, which came shortly after a fifth man accused DiMaggio of sexual assault, read as follows:

Andrew Christian does not condone sexual abuse or any other type of abuse or mistreatment to members of our community. We are taking allegations made by the victims very seriously. Accordingly, Topher is on indefinite suspension while we look into the matter. Late last year Andrew Christian started Project LOVE to help support various worthy charities in the LGBTQ community. Andrew Christian is committed to creating a safe welcoming environment for our LGBTQ family.

As of Wednesday night, when this article was published, DiMaggio's face and body remained on their website.  However, his face has been officially scrubbed off but it looks as if they are still using his body to advertise their assortment of underwear and clothing.

DiMaggio's presence for Andrew Christian was quite large for a lengthy period of time, especially on their website.  Whereas his face is officially gone, it's very clear that they are still using his body as he has a distinct tattoo right below his belly button which can be seen in some of the photos that are advertised.

Their other models, such as Nick Mascardo, are shown in full body length with his face included in the promos.  Not sure if Andrew Christian will eventually do away with DiMaggio's body overall, but as of right now, it remains.

Should Andrew Christian remove DiMaggio completely from its website?

  1. I do NOT know if anything

I do NOT know if anything Topher has been accused of is Actionable in Criminal or Civil Court. The USA considers Citizens to be Innocent UNTIL PROVEN “GUILTY”!  Unless these Alleged Accusations are Adjudicated in Court & DiMaggio is Found “Guilty” or “Innocent” OR Civilly Responsible/Not Responsible WE may Never know What’s “Real or Fictitious”! There are Mostly Anonymous Accusers, Who have less Credibility THAN THOSE WHO HAVE REVEALED IDENTITIES! If The Accusations Are Not Proven (and They very well might be) Topher DiMaggio will probably RETURN TO PUBLIC COMMERCE with even greater Recognition & Marketability. That’s just the way Contemporary Society Reacts. “COMEBACKS” are part of the DNA of The USA! Crude Behavior, Violent Behavior, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Abuse & Rape are Different Legally Defined Actions. They can be Distinct Events or Multiple Categories can combine in One Event. One way or another, The Topher DiMaggio  Story has, I think, A Lot More “Play” Before it is Resolved! Topher might have “9 Lives” & like a cat “land on his feet” no matter how far he falls. Right now, DiMaggio is getting a great deal of Publicity & the Public Relations fallout is Negative. If This Entire Drama is Resolved by Inaction/Action with Topher NOT PROVEN GUILTY the P.R. will eventually turn Positive … then the PUBLICITY turns into Notoriety, Recognition & Fame. On the Other hand, If Topher Is PROVEN GUILTY or RESPONSIBLE [In Court] then there will Not be a “Comeback” but rather a “Gone Away”! Time will tell. JUST A CAUTION: Even if He’s generally considered “Guilty”, He might still end up becoming President Of The USA … It has ALREADY Happened before!

A number of years ago, my first BF fell for his ‘charm’ and if I wasn’t across the country I would’ve come my ex’s rescue because Romeo (Topher DiMaggio) Fink had beat him up. The physical and emotional damage he did to him was so very sad. It does not matter nor does it say anything about the adult entertainment industry. Abusive assholes are everywhere and not limited to just being a porn performer.

  3. Gotta love how they still

Gotta love how they still inherently promote the behavior…

I think Andrew needs to have a Heart-to-heart with his customer base lest we all simply leave and he goes belly-up.

  5. While I believe that Topher

While I believe that Topher DiMaggio is guilty of sexual assault, I don't see any reason why Andrew Christian should have to re-shoot their catalog photos, since they had no way of knowing about the problem when the pictures were originally published, and the company itself hasn't done anything wrong. Removing Topher's face from the photos is enough. It doesn't serve any purpose to penalize Andrew Christian for Topher DiMaggio's bad acts — what kind of justice would be accomplished by doing that?

  6. I think they took a step in

I think they took a step in the right direction.  Can I say "Yes".. well, yes they should remove him completely, but I can also understand, they may have to reshoot items they had pictures of only him in and that doesn't happen by just snapping your fingers.  (contrary to what some may think)

So I say they did the right thing removing his face… as long as they completely phase him out as they go forward.

People who jump in and just say, "Remove him completely immediately" have never ran a business.

Once you click for larger photos, his face still appears on AC. Must still have some cropping to get done…

  9. What’s the point? They knew

What's the point? They knew he was a porn star. Only idiots do not know about the violence, drugs, and seedy behavior in the porn industry. It's hypocritical to take the moral high road now.

      What's the point? Seriously? Lol

Yes industry is disgusting, does that make everyone in it disgusting? No.
If anything, that should make those involved even more willing to distinguish themselves away from the violence, drugs, and seedy behavior.

Because Topher did not, this goes to show us he is no more worthy of our support than dog shit.

If Women's Rights are Gay Rights, I think Topher needs to go back to fuckin school lol

      • Most women’s  rights

Most women's  rights organizations do not support porn, period. It is viewed as violent, especially violent towards women. Regarding AC dropping Topher DiMaggio, it's a good thing, but I doubt it would have hurt sales if they kept him.
