The Porowski kitchen is officially open for summer, and Antoni Porowski is making sure his fans are fed. There is just one small problem: we’re having a little trouble concentrating on the food when the chef himself is serving quite the feast.

porowski

The host of Nat Geo’s Best of the World recently shared a barbecue recipe on social media that looks every bit as sweet and colorful as Porowski himself. It’s a wonderfully summery recipe, packed with fresh ingredients and seemingly perfect for warm-weather gatherings.

But then Porowski appeared on screen.

Without a shirt.

Suddenly, We’re Very Hungry

Now, we’re not saying Porowski intentionally designed this recipe video to distract his viewers. We’re simply saying that the decision to introduce the dish while showing off his visibly ripped physique was an interesting one.

Very interesting.

As Porowski walks viewers through his fresh ingredients, there’s plenty of opportunity to admire the recipe. There’s also plenty of opportunity to admire the chef, who manages to flex practically every God-given and hard-earned muscle while doing so.

And that may have created a tiny problem for anyone genuinely trying to follow the recipe.

Take the first ingredient, for example. Was it a mango? A kiwi? A watermelon? Raspberry! There we go. He was making a raspberry barbecue sauce.  It took approximately five replays, but we got there eventually.

The Fans Are Not Complaining

We’re hardly alone in our struggle to remain focused. Porowski’s fans appear to have fully embraced his increasingly distracting shirtless recipe videos, and the comments are making their feelings pretty clear.

One fan wrote, “he def knows exactly what he is doing with these ‘recipe’ videos and we love it.”

Another offered a request that absolutely nobody else seems interested in supporting: “Can you put a shirt on? I have no idea what you are saying.” Please no.

And then there was the vegan viewer who admitted, “I am vegan, but I watched till the end.”

Honestly, that’s commitment to culinary journalism.

The Main Course Is Right There

Of course, there is more to the host than looking ridiculously good while preparing food.

If you actually want to focus on his culinary expertise with (less) shirtless distractions, you can catch him fully clothed, most of the time, on Best of the World. The Nat Geo series follows Porowski as he travels around the world exploring and discovering some of the best food the planet has to offer.

It’s the perfect opportunity to watch Antoni talk about his genuine passion for food, learn about different culinary experiences, and appreciate his work as a host.

Although, after that latest recipe video, we completely understand if your attention keeps wandering back to the kitchen.

Because the barbecue may be the recipe.

But Antoni Porowski?

He’s still the main dish.
