Bobby Berk went off about how his Queer Eye costar Karamo Brown has been treated since it was announced that he would be competing on Dancing with the Stars with former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer.
The 37-year-old posted and deleted a ton of tweets that also went after the long-running reality competition series on Thursday, August 22.
“As if being on @DancingABC with the stars wasn’t already one of the must grueling things anyone can put themselves through, celebs now have to deal with producers & casting planting political land mines to blow you up,” he wrote in one of them. I’m very saddened by what my cast mate @Karamo is having to deal with today.”
Bobby also explained that he and his Queer Eye costars have been trained “over and over to not talk smack about anyone in an interviews and to try to be as nice as possible.” He said that Karamo’s media training took hold when he was “backed in a corner about voicing his opinions about @seanspicer.”
Karamo’s Twitter account remains deleted as of Saturday morning, August 24, after he was repeatedly criticized for calling Sean, 47, a “good guy” and a “really sweet guy” in an interview with Access Hollywood.
“Get a f***ing grip,” author Roxane Gay tweeted at him. “There is no friendship with people who enable fascism.”
The former Real World star blocked many Twitter users who came for him over the Spicer debacle before he ultimately took his page down.
His Instagram account still remains active although he has turned off comments on every single post.
