Okay, I’m being dramatic and having some fun. Still. This is a big deal. Emphasis on big.
It’s here, guys, the ever-buzzed-about nude scene of the hottest guy in Hollywood is streamable on computer screens everywhere. It’s a couple full-frontal shots of Pine bathing in a lake in Hell or High Water director David Mackenzie’s period piece Outlaw King.
So … *drumroll*… how is the nude scene?
To be honest, after all the press and months of hype, it is a letdown. Not that Pine isn’t physically perfect from every angle (he is), but this thing is seen from a great distance, it’s kind of blurry and it’s partially covered by water.
A big soaking wet d*ck is great. One that’s obscured by falling water? That’ not the same thing.

But this isn’t the radical, Hollywood-changing nude scene it was cracked up to be. Like the meh-ly reviewed Outlaw King itself, it is kind of a disappointment.
To compare, this nude scene is nowhere near as memorable as Pine’s beautifully photographed, gratuitous-yet-not-explicit nude scene in a glorious movie called Wonder Woman. It’s no coincidence that Wonder Woman was directed by a heterosexual woman, Patty Jenkins.
That scene kept it PG-13 (cuz it needed to), but was so radical. Like the quiet revolutionary Wonder Woman itself, this felt like turning the tables on over a century of making hot ladies take it all off in a movie about a man. Relive the glory below.
If Outlaw King were directed by a woman or a gay man, we wouldn’t be having a mixed reaction to this naked scene.
