Drunken Marines Were Caught Performing Oral Sex Outside A Club

Three Scottish Marines were caught performing sexual acts on each other outside of a nightclub. While they aren’t facing jail, they have been kicked out of service.

The three men in question are Luke Bowen, Jordan Coia, and Ben James. According to police the three committed “puerile and repugnant” acts outside the DeVitos nightclub that’s near the Royal Marine base in Angus.

The staff of the club were warned by others that there “were a number of males with their genitals exposed outside,” but when staff checked they found nothing. The next day, reviewed CCTV security footage showed the full incident.

In the video, which hasn’t been released or leaked, the men are seen drinking each other’s urine and simulating oral sex.

“This was puerile and repugnant as the narration clearly demonstrates,” says Deputy Stewart Duncan.

The three men later pleaded guilty to the charges of public indecency but have avoided jail time (excluding 200 hours of community service) and won’t be registered as sex offenders. This is because the court accepted that there was “no significant sexual element” in what they did.

“He had hoped this would be a lifelong career but it has been brought to an end,” said Bowen’s attorney Lynne Sturrock. “He’s ashamed and embarrassed at this incident and his family and friends now are all aware of the circumstances of it.”

In addition, it seems there were other marines present at the moment, but have pleaded not guilty to the charges and have remained in service.

  1. Why is everyone so, upset

Why is everyone so, upset about this, all they were doing is having some health fun probably before a major deployment. Please let me tell you, a good fit and healthy Man is allowed to have a great time before they put their lives on the line for there country. Have some respect, for everyone who puts there lives on the line for the public, this includes our, fantastic police officers and fire men. Thanks for your service.

  2. Talk about a misleading title

Talk about a misleading title!  It should have read Scottish Marines and incuded a generic photo of same, but then how many would have jumped at reading it. Cheap journalism trying to indict our corps with those how only read headlines and pretty pictures. I truly belive you owe your readers and USMC an apology!

    • I also thought it was US

I also thought it was US marines until I read the first paragraph. But there's no rule that says the headline must identify the country in question. Yes, it looks bad on USMC yet the writer was not wrong for excluding that in the headline, so long as the story got the facts right.

  4. Why is there a photo of U.S.

Why is there a photo of U.S. Marines (Marine Corps Band?) just below the headline??

I find that repugnant, as though someone is tying the USMC to this in some manner.

Also, why are a group of NYPD Officers, in uniform and saluting, in the next photo?

I would hope that this would be corrected.

    • I don’t know when you first

I don't know when you first saw this, but the photo I saw did show RMC not US. Maybe they corrected it after you complained?

      • Apparently, they have

Apparently, they have corrected the picture because initially it appeared to be USM saluting in dress uniform.
