We’ve been excited to watch Pose ever since the series was first announced back in October. Since then, we’ve been impatiently awaiting the release of the tv show that will host the largest trans cast in television history.
The series, created by Glee’s, Scream Queens’, and American Horror Story’s Ryan Murphy, takes place in 1980s New York City and its ballroom scene.
More specifically, the series follows a specific family in the ballroom scene, the budding House of Evangelista. Blanca Evangelista (MJ Rodriguez), the head of the house, leads the charge of her two new recruits, Damon and Angel (Ryan Jamaal Swain and Indya Moore respectively) as they work towards building a family, expressing themselves, and claiming a piece of their own in the city.

Pose is set to premiere tomorrow (June 3), so prep your schedules and run out to buy some popcorn ahead of time.
