Gay porn star Jay Dymel (real name Julian Pereza) has died at the age of 27 after slipping into a coma at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
No cause of death has been reported.
Falcon Studios, the company he had worked for most frequently, shared the news Wednesday night.
“It is with great sadness to inform the passing of Jay Dymel today,” the studio tweeted. “Our thoughts go out to Jay’s family, friends and partner Ryan Stone.”

Stone, also an adult performer, tweeted, “My lovely Jay Dymel is on life support at cedar Sinai in LA.”

Before passing, photographer and model Leo Forte posted on his Facebook that Dymel had “slipped into a coma” and had been on life support. He apparently never regained consciousness, and friends had been notified to “pay their respect before he is released and allowed to pass” Thursday morning.
Dymel had been active on social media as recently as Sunday tweeting a photo of himself and Stone from LA Pride:
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by Alexa Abraxas to help defray costs of his passing.
“Today we lost an amazing human being,” read the announcement on the crowdfunding page. “We lost a brother, a son, a best friend and most of all a sweet soul.”
“Jules had an infectious personality, it was so easy to love being around him,” continued the tribute. “No matter what he always made you feel loved and like family and now he’s gone.”
“Jules was loved by so many and will remain in our heart forever,” added Abraxas. “He had made his imprint and impact on this world and our community.”
Last month, Instinct reported on the apparent suicide of adult performer Casey Jacks.
Porn director Chi Chi LaRue and colleagues expressed their sadness on Twitter:
Please help support a fallen brother. Jay was an amazing person. This is a very sad day. https://t.co/O3NcoTpdXa
