Could Queen Bey be heading back into the rehearsal studio to drop a surprise music video? If recent reports are to be believed, she is about to give her beloved “Beyhive” more than one.
The Daily Mail reports this week that she has indeed filmed a new video, and that it is with her husband and sometimes video co-star, Jay Z, The report states “It’s one of her most extravagant and expensive shoots”. The report goes on to say “It was mostly filmed in LA and has a highly choreographed routine and also a steamy, romantic scene. She is working with some new creatives and is ready to change things up”.
Late yesterday, The Jasmine Brand reported that Beyoncé was actively filming in Los Angeles. The site reported that “the top secret shoot is either part of a music video or a “long form” video” and that “she’s super secretive with everything she’s done. So the people that are involved don’t even really know what’s going on”. They also indicated that absolutely no phones were allowed on the set.
Finally this week, Afrobeats star Shatta Wale revealed he and Bey shot a video for ‘Already’ from The Lion King: The Gift recently in Los Angeles:

If one of the videos is truly for “Already” from the aforementioned soundtrack, I think it is safe to expect the wonderful musical departure Beyoncé experimented with on the track to be reflected in the (hopefully) forthcoming video.
