How Did Andy Cohen Keep His Impending Fatherhood a Secret?

Jaws dropped on Thursday when Andy Cohen revealed that he is going to be a father for the first time ever in a matter of weeks.

He made the announcement during an episode of Watch What Happens Live amongst several OG Real Housewives including Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson and NeNe Leakes.

“Tonight, I want you to be the first to know, after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan in about six weeks’ time I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future,” he revealed as the audience and other Housewives shrieked.

Andy shared their reactions after he said the news on his Instagram Sunday night (the original view was just his face). So how the heck did he keep this huge life decision from them and the rest of the world?

Radar Online exclusively found out that he simply did what many of us do in our daily lives… he didn't tell them (them meaning the Housewives).

“None of the Real Housewives knew," an insider told Radar. "They can’t be trusted and gossip too much,” an insider told Radar. “Plus, he knew one of them would leak it on social media to get more followers!”

Insiders say that only a couple of select friends knew what was really going on. "Anderson Cooper and Sarah Jessica Parker knew along with his family and a few close friends,” the source continued. “But he kept the secret by telling almost nobody!”

Radar also claimed that Andy will be taking time off when he becomes a father next year. So will his baby be making an eventual appearance on WWHL or even better… at one of the Housewives reunions? Time will tell.
