The LGBTQ+ community is mourning the loss of Hunter Hardin, the gay adult performer, OnlyFans creator, and burlesque artist who also performed under the name LuLu LoveBottom. Hardin died by suicide on September 7 at the age of 30.

Before his death, Hardin shared a heartbreaking message on Instagram.
“I love you and I’m sorry I was unable to make it to the end. GOODBYE FOREVER. Love, LuLu,” he wrote.
The post was accompanied by a caption about being hurt by someone he had shared his heart with.
According to a comment from Asuras, described as one of Hardin’s dear friends, Hardin’s roommates discovered him at home and called paramedics. Despite efforts to help him, he could not be resuscitated.
The circumstances surrounding his death have understandably made this an especially painful moment for those who knew him.
Friends Remember LuLu
Hardin’s loved ones are now trying to remember him not only for the circumstances of his death, but for the person he was during his life.
A gathering is planned for September 12 at the home where Hardin lived, with close friend Michael extending an open invitation to his friends, family, and anyone else who would like to celebrate Hunter’s life. The gathering will take place in the backyard as loved ones come together to celebrate his life.
Meanwhile, a family friend has asked members of the community to respect the family’s privacy as they navigate what is described as an overwhelming and heartbreaking time.
Hardin’s social media comments have since filled with messages from people expressing their love, sadness, and regret that he could not see how deeply he was valued.
One particularly touching message remembered Hardin as someone who mattered, was loved, and would be deeply missed.
