All the Cher fanatics out there now have one more reason to love her. An amazing hotel in Manhattan has just introduced a Cher-themed suite that transports you out of the concrete jungle and into a world of 70’s fashion, sparkly décor and so much more.

Sofitel, one of the chicest hotels in Manhattan, just launched this suite dedicated to the “Believe” songstress earlier this month. The midtown hotspot is the perfect place to stay for all your NYC needs including a quick trip to Times Square, a subway ride to Central Park and an endless foodie scene that will leave you feeling stuffed and satisfied.

I was immensely happy to be the inaugural person who got to stay at this suite a couple of weeks ago. My excitement was on display the minute I walked inside and saw all the detail that went into creating such a magnificent setting.

There’s so much to look at when you go in. First off, the room is spacious and comfortable, with a sprawling bed and great view of New York City.

Secondly, it’s a freaking Cher bonanza in there! The homage that Sofitel pays to the Oscar winner is seen throughout the room. Outfits of Cher’s designed by Bob Mackie (who won the Tony Award for Best Costume Design for The Cher Show this year) is plastered on the walls as are classic photos of her from the 70’s and beyond.

Other décor details include: a Cher Show poster signed by the cast, TIME Magazine cover signed by Cher and Bob, Cher portraits by Hirschfeld, and original costumes from The Cher Show. The hotel will also offer a Cher-themed specialty cocktail, Turn Back Thyme—with a percentage of sales donated to GLAAD.

And from now until July 15 the hotel’s Gaby Bar will host a Proud Hour from 8-10 p.m. daily. 20 percent of all cocktail proceeds will benefit The Ali Forney Center, serving and empowering homeless LGBT youth.
